Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Hossain

Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Hossain is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at BRAC University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Kyungpook National University, South Korea, in January 2018, where he was actively involved in the Embedded Software Engineering Lab. His work contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations in Korea. He regularly participates in international conferences and symposiums, enriching his research perspectives. Dr. Hossain also serves as a Reviewer and Editorial Board Member for several international journals and conferences. He received the prestigious Korean Government Scholarship (GKS) in 2009 for his graduate studies and was later awarded the KNU Honors Scholarship during his Ph.D. His research interests include Information Security (Cryptography, Access Control, Privacy), AI and Machine Learning, Model-based Software Engineering, Software Testing and Verification, and Automation.
