Understanding Contribution Metrics
Number of Commits
The total number of code commits made by the contributor. Each commit represents a saved change to the codebase.
Lines Added
The total number of lines of code added to the codebase by the contributor across all their commits.
Lines Deleted
The total number of lines of code removed from the codebase by the contributor. This includes code refactoring, cleanup, and feature removal.
Contribution Metrics: Each contributor's work is measured by their commits, lines of code added, and lines deleted. These metrics reflect the scope of their contributions, but every contribution—regardless of size—is valuable to the project's success.
Course-Based Development
The Experimental Phase (Historical Context)
This project traces its conceptual origins to CSE 302: Object-Oriented Programming II: Lab, under the instruction of Durjoy Mistry. We acknowledge the students of the initial cohort for their participation in an exploratory departmental system project. Their engagement served as a valuable case study in identifying system requirements and user-flow challenges within an academic framework.
Notice of Discontinuation and Intellectual Property Boundary
It is formally noted that the initial academic project—constrained by a four-month timeframe—remained incomplete and was never moved to a functional or deployment-ready state. Following the conclusion of the academic term, that project was formally discontinued. No source code, logic, or architectural assets from that period were carried forward into the current system.
Commendation of Initial Participants
Heartfelt commendation is extended to the students of the original lab session. Their early enthusiasm and creative curiosity planted the seed that inspired the current development team to pursue this professional-grade solution. While the final product is not their technical work, their contribution shines as a source of community inspiration and a spark that set the project in motion.

Final Development & Deployment
The live system is an independent build from scratch (de novo) by a small private team using a clean-room process. It uses a new architecture and an entirely new codebase, and is owned by the current team. The people below built and delivered this production site.
