Call for Applications: ABC2027 Mini-Funding & Mentorship Program.

ABC2027 invites applications for the Mini-Funding / Mentorship Program for students and early-career researchers working on Activity and Behavior Computing.

Selected proposals will be matched with mentors from the ABC community based on topic fit and mentor availability. Mentorship is expected to be lightweight, typically one or two online meetings or brief feedback on research direction, methods, evaluation, and paper structure.

Selected proposals may receive seed funding of up to 100,000 JPY per team. Funding will be awarded only if the mentored paper is accepted to ABC2027.

Applicants should plan to submit a paper or position paper to ABC2027. Team applications may be accepted.

Proposal contents should briefly include:

- Topic and proposed title

- Objective or hypothesis

- Proposed methods

- Relevance to ABC2027

- Timeline aligned with the ABC2027 submission schedule

- Mentorship needs

- Team members, if applying as a team

- Preferred mentor(s) or topic area(s), if any

Mentors will not be assigned as reviewers for the same paper. Co-authorship with mentors may be discussed separately only when there is substantial contribution and mutual agreement.
