Dr. Homeyra Akter

Dr. Homeyra Akter is a full-time faculty member at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP). She earned her PhD in Interdisciplinary Intelligent Systems Engineering from the University of the Ryukyus, Japan, where she also completed her MSc, both under the prestigious MEXT scholarship. Her academic journey began at UAP, where she obtained her BSc degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Dr. Homeyra’s research expertise lies in microgrid optimization, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, with a strong interdisciplinary focus on integrating intelligent systems into smart energy solutions. Her work aims to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of modern power systems by applying advanced optimization and AI-driven approaches. With her international academic background and innovative research contributions, Dr. Homeyra is committed to fostering academic excellence and advancing the frontiers of intelligent energy systems at UAP and beyond.
