About
Muhammad Aminul Islam is currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Central University of Science and Technology. Alongside his teaching, he is serving as a Research Fellow at the ICT Division under the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Government of Bangladesh as well. He earned his Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Dhaka in September 2025. His research contributions have been presented in various international conferences. Currently, He is working on computer vision, cyber security, machine learning and sensors. At CUST, he has served as the Department Coordinator for almost two years and as the Advisor of the CUST Programming Club for nearly a year. In 2022, he participated as a team coach in the ICPC Asia Dhaka Regional Onsite Contest. Earlier, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Asia Pacific in 2020. During his undergraduate studies, he was placed consecutive 7th times on the Vice Chancellor’s Honor List. He secured the Runner-up position in the Software Exhibition segment of the 3rd UAP CSE Software and Hardware Carnival 2020 as well.
