Md. Nesar Rahman

Engr. Md. Nesar Rahman, an IT professional, cybersecurity researcher, and academic with 13+ years of experience in Bangladesh’s IT sector, primarily within law enforcement and defense, including the Bangladesh Army. His expertise spans server administration, virtualization, networking, and datacenter operations, with the past 9 years focused on information security—integrating infrastructure and security to design, secure, and maintain critical systems. He holds a BSc in Computer Science & Engineering, an MSc in Information & Communication Technology, and pursuing a PhD in Cybersecurity. Alongside, He serve as an Adjunct Faculty at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), teaching at the Master’s level and mentoring emerging IT and security professionals. To complement practical work, He has earned certifications including RHCSA, RHCE, CCNA, Microsoft Azure, CEH (Practical), and SOC Analyst. Passionate about bridging IT operations and cybersecurity, he seeks collaboration with professionals and organizations driving innovation and resilience in secure infrastructure.
