Rashik Rahman

Rashik Rahman is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP), specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Edge/TinyML. He completed his B.Sc. in CSE from UAP in 2021 and later earned his M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Calgary, Canada, supported by the Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship and the International Graduate Tuition & Recruitment Award. During his studies at Calgary, he served as a Research and Teaching Assistant, contributing to projects on privacy-aware learning, semantic segmentation, and efficient deep learning deployment. His work focused on optimizing lightweight AI systems for real-world applications in healthcare, agriculture, and smart technologies. Upon returning to UAP, Rashik resumed his role as a Lecturer, teaching Algorithms, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, and Data Structures while mentoring students in applied AI research. He has also participated in several professional workshops and earned international certifications in Deep Learning, Data Science, and Cloud AI, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
