Dhiman Sarma is an Australian Commonwealth Government–funded PhD Scholar in Cyber Security at the School of Computing, Mathematics and Engineering, Charles Sturt University, Australia, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Rangamati Science and Technology University (RMSTU). He holds an MSc in Information and Communication Systems Security from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden (QS World University Ranking 74, 2025) and an MBA from the University of Dhaka. With 14 years of university-level teaching experience, he has served in senior leadership and governance roles, including Dean of the Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology, Chairman of the Department of CSE, Additional Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Member of the Syndicate and Academic Council, and Focal Point of the Research and Innovation Center (RIC). Mr. Sarma has numerous scholarly publications, has led prestigious national and international conferences, supervised over 30 undergraduate and postgraduate theses, and is widely recognized for his expertise in tertiary pedagogy, research, and national strategic initiatives.
